@Carmie I'm in PA too and I'm glad that's not in my area.  I agree that it's very crude.

Re: I Didn't Care For This

[ Edited ]

My take on the messages, is if it gets even one woman to do a self exam, or google how to, or ask their doctor how to and saves their life in the end, the message worked.  As far as the t-shirts go, there are much cruder ones out there.   And if you are a survivor wear what you want and hold your head up.   There are alot of messages out there that are "uncomfortable" or crude.  Heck years ago the topics would never have been brought up or even discuss them with their own doctors they were so embarrassed.   But for all those who 'dislike" it or are uncomfortable about it, please remember because it wasn't discussed or mentioned, many people did not know to seek help and died.  You may not like it, but again if it helps one person get the courage to get checked or ask about it, that message might just have saved their life.  Many men are more familiar with their spouse's boobs then the worman is (especially when they are younger)  And if a crude phrase makes a guy more aware of something not feeling right and he feels comfortable enought to speak up, again another life possibly saved. .

@Anonymous032819Thoughts?  Yep.  You're driving too darn close to the vehicle in front.  Give some space.  You'll be safer and you may not be able to read the banner.

I LOVE this message!! See what it did? It got just one person (OP) to see it and to start a whole conversation here. This "crude" decal totally succeeded! Yay!

I just hope it doesn't become TV ads. I think it's disgusting. There are always more thoughtful ways to raise money for research.

My opinion is that cancer is far more crude and offensive than any of this.

"......feeling comfortable enough to speak up......" the way we all should feel when confronted with such an exceptionally important subject. I celebrate the realism of SURVIVORS and THRIVERS, and frankly, I don!t care HOW someone FINDS the awakening, as long as the awakening IS FOUND.

My precious son is a survivor of testicular cancer, and should anyone come up with a snappy saying for a T-shirt, this grandma will be proud as punch to wear it.

I saw that slogan years ago when I was treated for breast cancer in my 30's. It is not new. I remember thinking how true and even though I tend to be slightly uptight about crude humor, that slogan rang true to me. Anything that brings attention to a disease that kills thousands of women every year, I am all for.
