I have always been a fan of Helen Keller. Tough times for so many of us but we are stronger than we think. We will look back one day and say...."Look at us....we made it through". It's hard to think that way when we are in the middle of it but, I have found that positive thinking and asking God to give me more courage than I have....helps a lot. Hang in there and take one day at a time. Nothing lasts forever. You can do this! I am praying that God will bring you the strength and hope you need.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 ... I too have joined the club of what else can go wrong before this year is over. I can't believe how many health problems have hit me one after the other during 2019.
But I am not here to talk about me, I am here to attempt to comfort you. For whatever reason you have been tested...does it mean that 2020 is going to be a calm, problem free year for you? I sure hope so. I will wish for you a new year filled with peace, love, good health and free of trouble. Stay strong, you're going to be just fine.

You are more than welcome. We are all in this together and we can get through it more easily if we help each other. There isn't a person I know that hasn't had cancer touch their life - if not them, then people they love dearly. Any time we can help each other many will benefit from it. We can't count on our doctors to know all the information available so we have to help each other. Take good care of yourself (your dent will eventually fade away) and help others if/when you can. Melanoma is a serious killer and when we can beat it that is a HUGE accomplishment. We are truly lucky! My father had melanoma and he died...I was totally sure I was going to die from it. I was soooo lucky I met that holistic doctor with interesting new information for me to consider.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I'm so sorry for all you've been through. I remember in the spring when you said you lost your Dear Husband. What a tragedy.
Dh & I did not get good news on his 5th yr checkup either. Our 2019 isn't ending well and now we're heading into 2020 to spend months worth of treating yet his 3rd cancer in the lungs. Neither year has been nor will be good.
I really do hope your 2020 starts better for you, you certainly deserve better.

I've had some similiar major life changing events in the last 2 yrs . When , I was at my lowest point , I relied on my faith in the Almighty and thankful for my loving family & supportive friends . I also , thought a great deal abt how many of my ancestors faced such terrible hardships in close sequential order .
Am sending positive thoughts your way .
