Hypothetical eBay question for experienced sellers

Let's say you bought a purse for $100 for your personal use. You use it a couple times and realize you don't like it.

You decide to sell it on eBay (or any online selling site). You sell it for $50.

Would you have to then report the $50 you got for the purse as "income" for tax purposes?
