Hurricane Matthew is headed for Jamaica , Cuba and Haiti. Matthew is already a category 5 and expected to be a big one.

Meteorologists will be tracking closely to see if Matthew will reach the east coast of the U S by the middle of next week,

I hope not...people here in the tri state area (NY!NJ Ct) are still remembering, recovering, from Sandy.  Hoping the people in the Caribbean do not get hit  hard.

The scary part is that this hurricane started out as a category 5. Praying that Jamaica and the other islands will not suffer badly.

Thanks for the info.  Sounds like a bad one.  i feel badly for anyone in its path.  I have relatives in Florida so it's always a concern.

There are no indications of where this storm will head after the Caribbean, it may be the Gulf or the East coasts. Anyone in Florida getting any news yet?

I just watched an update on the storm, Matthew is down to a category 4 but has winds of 145 MPH. 4-5 inches of rain expected in Jamaica which could cause mud slides. Not sure yet if the storm will hit the U S or head out to sea, If the storm were to hit the U S it would be by Thursday.
