Hurricane Helene

[ Edited ]

I was watching the news saying 600,000 people in Florida are without power at this time ( it's 9:03 CST here in St. Louis)

So much damage is expected and my heart goes out to the people effected by this terrible storm. They are predicting about 1-2 inches of rain here by this weekend when the storm moves this way with heavier rain in Georgia and other states up into Southern Mo. I pray all stay safe

South of Charlotte, NC here.  Rain thru the night and pretty high wind gusts tomorrow.  The schools here have announced that they will not be open tomorrow.

My prayers for your area as well. When the weatherman here says possible tornado coming to St. Louis during the forecast I start getting a bag packed to head for the basement of my apartment so just seeing what this Hurricane can do is just heartbreaking !  Stay safe !

Seeing all the videos of the storm and the devastation today  has been very upsetting!

This is the most "bad" I have ever seen from 1 storm.

What a nightmare it was for so many.  Prayers for all!

AP news wire tonight said 44 deaths and counting. More will likely be found. A mother and her newborn twins. I just can't get that out of my head. Can't sleep. Why. Why.
