I will take heat and humidity over the cold. Others like Elsa  say "The cold never bothere me anyway."

The humidity has been brutal in the northeast.  Though it usually is in summer, but at least we get breaks now and then.  Thunderstorms expected later today and tomorrow drier and only in the 60's.......yay!

@LindaSal , I've lived in NY. State my whole life, and yes we do get periods of humidity, but this year it sees worse. JMO

@QVCkitty1 I'm in RI and I agree, the summers do seem to be quite humid and lasting way too long.  (LOL)

Healthy human bodies can and do adapt to weather changes, but not in our now "instant everything world". It takes time and the word is "acclimate". I wrote my typical long post on this topic in another thread a few days ago about why heat and humidity do not effect me as much as it seems to effect others.

@QVCkitty1  As they say, "It's not the heat, it's the humidity.". But after living in South Florida all of my life, I'm used to it.  Like Elly May, we cool off with a dip in the cement pond.  🏊
