I have no idea what he said or did, however, could never stand him at all. What a "......"

I watched the Oscars last night and his comments were fine. He was paying Andie MacDowell a compliment, and making reference to him not holding up as well.
No harm no foul.

@chrystaltree SPOT ON!
Isn't that why they walk the red carpet? To show and be asked "who are you wearing"?
@manny2 I think they do it to get their name in the news. If so, old Hugh did it up right.
I guess we can agree to disagree on this one @Sooner. It's all good.

I like Hugh Grant and love Jimmy Kimmel. I heard both utterances being referenced and didn't care for either. Hugh's was dumb but typical of the dry Brittish humor. Jimmy's was in poor taste.
To me the rudest person at the Ocar's was the woman blocking everyone's view behind her in a ridiculous dress with huge collar/head piece attached. Really thought Jimmy should have joked about it. Did she not realize how inconsiderate or did she just not give a ****!

I agree. Does anyone know who she is? I wonder if there were any complaints from the unlucky ones who had the seats directly behind? Unbelievably selfish and kind of entitled towant to ruin such a big night for others.

Oscar watchers had plenty of questions about one woman in the crowd at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday, after she showed up in an enormous white dress with a veil that dominated her section of the audience.
Who is that woman? Who does that woman think she is? And what is she doing with a giant outfit in a theatre?
The woman's name is Tems, and the 27-year-old was nominated along with Rihanna for Best Original Song for "Lift Me Up" from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Tems wore a billowing white gown at the Academy Awards on March 12. But when she took her seat in the audience, fans were quick to point out that her dress was blocking the view of people behind her.
The Lever Couture gown featured a headpiece that wrapped around the back of her head.
Tems is nominated for best original song for the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” track “Lift Me Up.” The award would eventually go to “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR.”
In one viral tweet, writer Jarrett Bellini compared the singer to a "stratus cloud."
"Imagine waiting your whole life to be at the Oscars and you end up sitting behind a stratus cloud."
