...and drinks too. It's so weird, but sometimes at restaurants I think it's going to be a certain amount and then when the bill comes the drinks can add on $10 (even non-alcoholic).

Yeah...poor planning on her part and I am sure it took a bit of the pleasure of the experience off. I would have been so embarrassed if I had been her.

BTW: Jules wishing you the best on your birthday...if we lived near by...I would happily take you to oh lets say I-Hop.and maybe 31 Flavors afterwards.

Our Applebee's has "2 for 20." lunches everyday, of coarse that doesn't include a tip or alcohol. I'm with croemer, let's get Preds and a few others and we can all go.!! Whoopee!

You know after a bit more thought about this...I would have been really disappointed as well due to the loss of your father recently...feeling alone and a bit down. This was going to be a special day...getting your mind off the loss and it was a bit spoiled by what happened. It may have made it seem worse then... just any other time. Try not to put more emphasis on it then it was Jules...remember her heart was in the right place.
