When you are no longer here on earth how do you think you will be remembered? I know this sounds a little well.... something we dont like to speak of... but do you think you will be remembered fondly by the people closest to you?

The reason I ask this is, my dad passed away over a year ago now. I dont think there is a week that goes by that someone doesnt mention him.

My daughter just the other day, looked at the sky and thought she saw "Pop Pop" (my dad) smiling down at her and took a picture of the clouds and sent it to me and said the clouds look like heaven today so she knows Pop Pops there watching us. Then, my oldest granddaughter said when she has children shes naming her son after my dad. My son talks about my dad all the time. And of course I talk about him all the time and so do my relatives and also my husband.

My DH never had children of his own, (I have children and grandchildren and my children were grown when I met him but of course he loves them all) But he said my dad was lucky to have had a wonderful family and so many people who loved him. DH said probably no one will think of him when hes gone. I said OMG, my kids and grandkids LOVE you, of course they will think of you. (and so will I if Im still here)

So anyway, not a week goes by someone doesnt mention my dad. It makes me think I hope when Im gone, I left an impression on my husband, children, and grandchidren to remember me fondly.

I think they will, but you never know. (maybe they think Im annoying..haha).
