Re: How to Interpret Common Dreams

[ Edited ]

In my long life I have had all those dreams...

When I got sick of them, especially the one about  not being able to get home from somewhere (funny cause I never left home in my life) I just made up my mind ,when this dream would start ,I would refuse to dream it.........lol...That did work...lol  and I no longer dream it..........

but recently in my dreams I was being murdered.............  Whats up with that ?????

think it could be too much, Discovery ID  ????

Re: How to Interpret Common Dreams

I use to have nightmares all the time,I was either being shot,  stabbed or burned alive.  I got divorced three years ago and now I have sweet dreams

Re: How to Interpret Common Dreams

My husband has nightmares about being shot, hit, stabbed a lot. He will start thrashing around in his sleep and be yelling "stop" or "help" or something. I'll wake him up and he will be so grateful.Vivid dreams are a side effect of a med he takes.

Love this.

One of my more common dream is forgetting that I'm in a class, so I haven't gone all semester, and then its final exams time. Or, some variation of that. I'm surprised not being ready for a test isn't on that list - I thought it was quite common.

Omgosh, I dream this often too. Talk about panic!

Why thanks!Cat Very Happy

I worked the first two days of spring break doing some cultural things for class, and now many of these infographics are popping up on my Pinterest board.

Are you a pinner?  I could spend all day looking at things that are "recommended", and I'm acquiring a good bit of "collectibles" on my fashion board.  Sometimes it's nice to pin things knowing that you aren't going to buy them but can appreciate them for one reason or another.

I like to find things (infographics, quotes, etc.) that are either useful or that will inspire "discussion" from people I may not normally hear from on the other boards.

Re: How to Interpret Common Dreams

I also had the 'teeth falling out' one a few times in the past.  I don't even remember what was happening at that time in my life.

Falling and being chased - pretty standard stuff.  Haven't had those lately, either.

I don't remember dreaming I was pregnant (have never been), but I dreamt a couple of times that I had a baby and I kept forgetting where I put him.  oops!

I have very weird dreams - like REALLY weird.  But now I'm in a stage where I can't remember them for more than a minute after waking up.

I do remember one silly little one I had last week, though,  I had the tv on and had fallen back asleep.  That episode of Lucy was on from when they moved to CT and got those baby chickens.   I had the dumbest dream where I was there.   All I remember was that Lucy's hair was dark, like really dark, with a couple of slightly lighter streaks in it.  If that weren't weird enough, some of the little chicks were standing there and they had little shirts on.  Don't know where any of that came from!  Smiley Happy

I am a Pinner! I really need to organize them better though!

I pin a lot of home decor and paint samples, clothing, infographics, quotes and recipes.

You are definitely an asset asset to this board and this broad!  Lol.  (Board autocorrected to broad so I though I'd go with it)

Looking online ... there are lots of philosophical discussiosn of dreams ... Google "philosophy of dreams."
