We had MORE THAN ONE rainy day this past week and may even get another one this coming week! Isn't it wonderful?!  We took a drive today and things were finally green again!  I know exactly how you feel.  If we get more this week, I'll send it your way!

We drove all day yesterday from the North Carolina coast to the Jersey Shore.

Spent NYE at Caesars in Atlantic City, spent the night in Sea Isle City and worked all day today in the yard in Ocean City.  

I laid (or layed?) down 12 rolls of sod.    It was warm out (about 57*?) for NJ.

But at home it's warmer and will be going up to 70 there by mid week. 

Rain-rain-rain here (and home) in the forecast which is a good thing especially for the sod.

Hope we're headed home by Thursday/Friday as it's going to get cold here (in the teens at night) and I think I'd have to be a hermit all winter.

Cape Cod was in the 50's with bright sunshine, I only wore a sweatshirt while I was out  today.

Woke up to a white New Year's Day....cold....30 degrees the high all day andthe rest of the week....nights colder.  It is winter HERE.

On NYE it was cold and snowing here in NH and I am loving it!!!  I am definitely a winter gal!
