How often do you watch tv?
We dvr everything and we watch "our" shows after the 530 news at night (when the shows are on, now they're on break).
Then DH watches "his" few shows after work or before bed one by one. And I watch "my" shows when DH is in bed after 9 because i stay up real late.
Well, I dvrd all the new Hallmark Christmas movies I could. I have not watched any. I also dvrd the popular Christmas cartoons (because I still like to watch Rudolph and all, but I have not watched any)...lol..
We are caught up on our shows as they haven't been on. But I also recorded HBO movies we haven't seen in the theatre and those we get to eventually on the weekends or in the Summer.
BUT I am 85% thinking of deleting all of the Christmas movies and toons now that Christmas is over! I am just not into watching tv right now and soon the regular tv shows will pick up again.
Agree or disagree? I am thinking I need to get back to reading real books and less tv time and computer time. I will still watch "my and our" favorite tv shows just not a lot of extra shows.

My living room TV quit last year. It's big in a big armoire and I can't get to the back of it to disconnect the cable so I just have the bedroom TV. I watch the local news on my iPad and go to the bedroom for a couple favorite shows. That's about it. I read a lot and really don't miss it. Almost never watch movies.

I record everything as well-it gets to be too much at times...............and then I start deleting and keeping only my very favorites.
TV should be fun not stressful...............

I don't record anything, there would be no point. I would never find the time to watch it. Between Hulu and Xfinity On Demand, I have everything I could possibly want. On the days I work from home, I sit in the livingroom and I have the big tv on. So, I catch up on tv programs. I read and play on the computer in the evenings, I might watch an hour of tv but that's about it.

My T.V. is on 24/7....only time i shut it off is when i leave my place....(which is seldom)....i get company...or i am on the phone...
Now i am not necessarily watching...i like it for background while i am on my computer or tablet or reading a good book...

I watch almost no tv so I have no favorite shows or recording equipment.
I watched maybe 30 minutes this morning as I'm off this week & have houseguests but once they were up, tv was off.
I read news & weather online after I read emails at the end of the day. I found I can read the articles I want without the booming voice telling me what they want me to know brought to me by their sponsors.

Too much!
Last year around Thanksgiving my tv broke.
I could have gone out the next day and bought a new one but I chose not to.
It was the best thing that ever happened to me.
Now I have access to another tv that isn't mine and sadly I am getting hooked again.
This tv has way more channels than I ever had and I want to marry it.![]()

I watch tv at least a couple hours a day.

When I am home (which is a lot), I always have the news on. Sometimes I will turn over to a channel showing old shows like Andy Griffith or Bonanza, but it's mostly just the news.. I like to stay up on everything.

I watch a couple hours a day (I DVR "Judge Judy" and "Hot Bench," but I fast-forward through animal cases).
