some of you are lucky not to sweat at least once a day.

i am in that time of live and have been for quite a while now. it is pretty rare if i dont sweat several times a day, even in the coldest days of winter.

there is no way i would NOT wash my personal items or even the clothing that touches my skin every time i wear them.

I am with you, @sunshine45 !!  I wash mine after every use.  Never dry them though.  I have many, most of which are the same type.  I wash them in with a regular load that matches in color.  Life is too short to hand wash, and I could never wear anything that touches my skin all day more than once!!

I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend, til death, your right to say it

Re: How often do you wash your bra?

Depends on the temperatures and what I've been doing.  If I'm sweaty....one wearing.  If I haven't done anything strenuous and it's comfortable temps outside...I'll go 3-4 wearings before tossing it in the wash.

I wash in the machine and hang to dry.  Seldom wear the same bra two days in a row.  I have a lot of them!

When I take my nightly shower, everything I take off (that is washable) gets tossed into the hamper. I do at least 1 load of wash every day.

UPDATE:  Found lightweight 'gym towels' (a set) on Amazon.  Smaller, yet good reviews.  Thanks, everyone!

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

No such thing as the concept of overwashing here because we overwash all the time.  We take at least 2 showers a day and wash things usually after one use or wearing including towels, discloths and towels and everything else.

I shower twice a day, too, and usually wash tops after one wearing.

Daily.   Even without sweating, there are still body secretions.  My biology professor told me the same 'compounds' coming out of my pores are the same from my bladder.  That did it for me~!

I go through spurts of that.  That changes everything. I'll probably jinx myself but it's been months since I had that problem.  But I know it's not over.

I like clean underclothes each time after a shower. Never wear the same one twice. I put on the handwash cycle and never in the dryer. Washing doesn't hurt things; it's that evil dryer that does the dirty work.

Me too. I would rather be over washed than under washed.

We've all encountered people out in public who have clearly abandoned the idea of a daily shower and regular laundry. Not pleasant.

I wear mostly Genie-type bras. I wash them after each wearing unless it was just for an hour or two. I don't machine dry bras or underwear.
