I take a selfie if I want to check out a lipstick color (at home). I've taken a selfie when I want to show my hairstylist what worked or didn't work.

I take them sometimes, but only for a reason.  To show someone something or ask an opinion on something.  I always look awful in them so I wouldn't be taking them just for the heck of it.

You can!  Use a remote.  I love mine!

Just Google 'selfie wireless remote'...they're sold everywhere.
