Are there encouraging words to help your child who is suffering a break up from a long-time girlfriend? Our son is a 22 year old long time cancer survivor; he will be graduating from college on Mother's day...his girlfriend of six years caught him blindsided.....she was selecting engagement rings with him the past few months and just this Monday, she decided to break up with him so she may date other guys (WHICH IS a valid choice FOR A YOUNG WOMAN)......I just feel sad for my son who should be celebrating his graduation at this time but instead he is very sad....any suggestions on how we can provide encouragement and support to him to help him move through this time.....I kindly appreciate suggestions and advice....
