48--except for Hawaii and Indiana. Go figure! Why I didn't make an effort to stay in Indiana when I was in surrounding states, I just don't know. I measure it by--do I spend the night in the state--not just driving through. About 4 years ago, I was in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio. I could have gone to Indiana--I just wasn't thinking.
My son tells me I've been into Indiana. Years ago, we crossed the river and went to the Louisville Bat Factory when it was in Indiana. I understand they've moved it.

I'd love to go to Germany again, especially now that I know which cities my various ancestors are from. Ironically I was within about 30 miles of one of the towns when I was there before and didn't know it.
