Until last week all my bulbs were completely covered in inches of snow. Then last week the snow melted on the flower bed. I don't get it. The daffodils were completely covered in snow but yet the leaves grew about 2" underneath the snow. How did they know the snow would eventually melt and they will bloom right on schedule.

Speak of, I haven't seen my daffodils in years.  I guess they will never come back, @Yahooey

It doesn't matter to me. I still get up before the sun comes up and go to bed when it gets dark enough.

I'm for no fall back and no spring forward.

@sunshine45I wouldn't mind the tad bit more of daytime in the Spring.  Like one more hour and then leaving it like that year round.

SAD happens to a lot of people because it gets dark at 4:00p.m. in some regions.  I do notice I'm not as upbeat in the winter months as I am in the spring.  I don't like hot, Summer at all.  I just want the daylight to las longer.

I only like spring and fall because the only thing worse than the cold of winter is the heat of summer. And during those 2 seasons of winter & summer what the clock is doing makes no matter to me because I mostly stay inside to avoid them.

[ Edited ]

As I get older, I'm less likely to wish my life away wanting another season to arrive more quickly and I don't like the time changes.  I'm for Standard time.

Besides, here in the NE where I live, Spring can be rainy, cool in the 50's and low 60's with few days in the 70's.  Then, boom...at the end of May temps soar to the high 80's and 90's where they stay until mid-September, but could until mid-October.  Add humidity, biting bugs, and weeds.

Some of the birds will begin to wake me up soon starting around 4:00 am when I promptly tell them to go back to bed.  That doesn't work, so I get up in what feels like the middle of the night.

Even though I'm wanting Fall, I try to make the best of Spring and Summer.
