How many hours do you watch TV per day ? - Page 2

I don't watch tv during the day, especially in the summer. In the evening I usually watch Shark Tank on Friday night. I read a lot & sit on the deck in the evenings. Most evenings I catch the 10:00 news, mostly for the weather forecast.

The tv or music is always on but we're not paying much attention. We probably active watch 5 hours of programming a day. My husband watches much more though if there are games or golf he's interested in.

now home most of the time... it is ALWAYS ON in the background... I do things with it on. So... pretty much all day. In the evening after dinner I actually sit down and watch it.

It varies.

On average, probably 3-4 hours, late afternoon and evening.

To sit and watch a whole show and be able to tell you everything that happened, maybe 3 hours a night. During the day it is on, but it's really listening as opposed to watching.

I used to watch some soap operas years and years ago, now I don't not having the TV - sometimes I watch Wheel of Fortune with my husband, that's about it.

It varies. The TV is usually tuned in to the news channel (as it is now) but we aren't always watching. We watch evening shows sporadically. My favorite evening show is on Wednesday; Law & Order: SVU. I also enjoy Jeopardy.
