How long to pre-heat Power Pressure XL

I followed Eric's steps on making pot roast; plug in, select meat, time, wait for it to heat to sear......I waited 25 mins for it to heat in order to sear, it was ice cold. Even the unit under the pot was ice cold. How long does it take to pre-heat in order to sear? The display was just cycling, it never went to PO:40 like in Eric's video. I'm so bummed. Had to serve sandwiches as dinner tonight. 😔
