After 20 months of unemployment, I'm finally starting a new job on Monday. I'm so excited! The pay, the hours, the type of work....everything is great and more than I expected.
The only minor glitch is the commute. I'll be driving about 40-45 minutes each way. In the past, my commute has been no more than 15 minutes each way. Just thinking about being on the road that long is nerve wracking to me. I guess I'm a commuter wimp!
Does anyone have any words of wisdom to help me get used to this long commute? Or maybe 40-45 minutes is average for many of you?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
