I am assuming not long after I registered back in 2007. How long after I that I hid under the bed for awhile till my skin toughened up I do not know. Just comes with age the toughening up and clicking over to book and kitchen forums. Viewpoints is a lot of fun and when I start feeling angry or mean myself (which it does happen even if most threads are fun) I try to leave immediately.

My sign-up date is not correct. That was the date they gave everyone during a board upgrade.

I've been posting since the 90's when it was ShopTalk. My name was Shopstomuch back in those days.

They didn't change mine during the board upgrade. My sign up date has remained the same since the day I registered.

What exactly happened on the board that so many posters had their registration date changed?

There's been several board upgrades. It always messes up dates and names for some people. When I first started posting, I would have to register every month. They never could tell me why. It went on like that for a couple years. Lol

I have no idea what happened with the board but during one of the "upgrades", many of us were given the 2005 sign-up date.

LOL. Well, if I told you the exact story I would probably get banned....again, because apparently Karl Marx's ideas are Verboten. Suffice it to say that it was about Gaga's giving away money to some cause, my quoting Karl Marx when someone questioned her motives, someone else making a snide, insulting comment about my political leanings after that quote, and my ending it with a final Marx quote in response to her snide comment. Given the nature of the final quote, I'm guessing it was the Waterloo of my old screen nick here. So I stayed off the board in 2012 for a while and cancelled my charge account with the Q. One day I was reading Viewpoints, and a poster named Sydney, mentioned on a thread that she hadn't seen me around in a very long time. So I signed in with a new account and a new nickname, and dropped in on their conversation. I remember they were curious about the whole story too, but I couldn't repeat the whole thing there either. The incident actually did me a favor because I no longer have a charge account with the Q, and I am saving sooooooo much money.

I started posting in 2011 I believe but things go so messed up my original posts UNDER RINGER I can't seem to get back due to QVC'S inability to help me with my email name and password so this is the only way now I can post on any forum!

I post a lot under books, and TV and Viewpoints so if you see RINGER2, that is actually my former RINGER!!
