I think I first signed up at the end of 2004 when this forum was called something other than it is now. As most of you know, I posted as DianaFran, part of my real name, for several years. When they did away with the old forum, I left for quite a while and didn't post at all. Then I returned, mainly because of some of the posters with whom I had become acquainted. Recently I had to change my screen name because of an unfortunate incident involving Lady Gaga and Karl Marx. It's a long story. So RainCityGirl, after my hometown, is my second screen nick after all this time. I have seen people come and go, and sadly some have died. There are times lately when I think, you know it's time to wrap this up and move on before some people's screen nick changes rise to a 6 digit number, but then I lost count of that long ago, so it's a moot point. It is what it is, and I guess I'll be here on and off until it totally bores me beyond belief.

I've been posting on here since July, 2001, shortly before the 9-11 attacks.

Right after that, the members of this board were amazing. People were supportive, kind, caring and loving. It lasted until...well it lasted until it lasted, and then it was back to the same old, same old.

But it was a good ride while it lasted.

I joined seven years ago (Jan. 2008) but didn't post for quite some time. Once I started posting I was hooked! Funny how that happens.

Since Day 1 when it was called ShopTalk. My original nickname no longer worked after one of the BB upgrades, so I had to re-sign up in 2007.

Can't remember....either late 2005 or early 2006. I stopped posting in mid 2007 til March of 2008 when I got my new computer (at that time).

PS.....VP's was called ""Anything Goes"" at the time.
