I think I signed up in '06 and one day the screen said "name already taken". So I had to type in my name all in lower case instead of SophiaMarie. A lot of posters were having trouble all at the same time.

Despite what the trolls now are saying, I have never changed my name, nor am I posting under any other name. I don't even know why I bother explaining this to anyone. As Joy Behar would say "who cares???"

Too many new names on so many old posters. I don't get it. I remember the days when it was really a pleasure to post here all the time (with few exceptions of course). now - not so much.... JMO

Me, too. (Well, I didn't go by Traveler (haha), but I posted here back when there was a News and Views section for current events. And before the internet became available to all, my friends and I used to post on local BBS's run by those who were majoring in computer programming at the local college.

Did you do that too? Had to dial up to their systems. Got knocked off for the slightest glitches and had to log back on. Ah...those were the days.
