niiice! Two years ago on Thanksgiving I visited my daughter and in West Hills and Burbank. It was 96 degrees. Holy Tamole' my poor daughter cooking that turkey with air conditioning!. Lol. We couldn't go outside by the pool, as it was hot on the pavement, and heat and glare just permeated upward. No kidding. Why does it seem hotter when temps reach 96 in November than when it it is 96 in July. ??. I think it is the position of the sun.

@shoekitty, yes I would say 96 degrees whether it is in July or Nov. is pretty toasty!! We actually set new high temp records here in the first week of Oct., then it finally cooled off.
