It has been unseasonably dry here in the PNW  Seattle area this spring. Today we thankfully received a bit of rain,,,.but we need more. I actually watered my entire yard last week....I NEVER water in May! But it just has not soaking rained in so long I sensed my plants were needing a bit of water. 

I fear another bad fire season ahead....last year the smoke  and air quality was so terrible. I pray that it is not that bad this year.

@SilleeMee    I was out pulling weeds this morning.  Backbreaking work.  First day without wind for weeks and weeks.  We had 60mph gusts Saturday.

drythe, here in S. WI,  it's been in the low 80's with a brief shower yesterday.  70's & nice from Saturday until next Monday.  Are you East or West of the Mississippi?  Maybe neither.

Great here in Chicago, 80s, humidity not too high.  A true summer day!  The level of Lake Michigan is going down--a good thing now because the beaches, which had been disappearing because of the high lake levels are now returninng in time for beach weather.
