Re: How interested are you in ""the arts?""

Like many English majors, I love theatre and especially Shakespeare's plays, Years ago I took a three week trip to England that was led by a UC Santa Barbara professor. We saw a play almost every night in London and Stratford. Patrick Stewart did his one man show in Stratford. I go annually to Ashland Oregon for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. I haven't missed a year in over 30 years. if you ever get a chance go there. They have many different plays, not just Shakespeare and it is a beautiful friendly college town.

Grew up in a family very involved in the arts. I paint. Can't imagine raising children and not exposing them to all of the arts.

I wasn't brought up with the arts rather I was introduced to them by my husband. The first time he took me to the ballet and I saw Barishnykov dance I knew I was in love. I have a membership to the MET and frequently visit. MOMA is another favorite. I don't get to the opera as often as I would like but usually go once a year.
