Growing up in New England, most of us here pronounced it AUnt!

I usually say "ant" (as in the bug), but both my parents say "ain't" (with a long "a" sound).  I've heard lots of people from the eastern Kentucky mountains say it like that.  ("ain't") Funny it never stayed with me since that's how my parents and grandparents pronounced it.
