There are very few people who are "smart" in all aspects and all fields. For me, for general purposes, I'll take someone with passion and common sense as a confidant and go to person. In areas of specialty, obviously I look to someone who has the education to provide the best services possible and that requires both the education, a hunger to continue to learn and the ability to apply what they've learned and willing to think outside the box.
