How do you like to be addressed by strangers?

How do you like to be addressed by people who don't know your name?

I prefer "ma'am" or "Ms." I am probably in the minority on the ma'am thing.

I don't like "Mrs." (it assumes marital status) or anything cutesy like honey, sweetie, etc.
