How do you feel about the exploitation of children and animals on TV to solicit charitable donations?

They are usually very long, have sad musical backgrounds, sad, tearful faces, and sometimes shown very ill. And some famous person usually narrates them.

I don't watch. If I see one come on, I change channels.

Regarding the animal humane commercials: Not only I, but everyone in the household, (including males) immediately switch the channel. And if they can't find the remote, they shut their eyes, sometimes walking out of the room. None of us even know which charity it is, after all of these years. If I were in charge of advertising, I'd show a very brief 'before' and a beautiful 'after', spending more seconds on the 'after'. I'm betting that the donations would double, at the very least, after seeing the heartwarming 'afters'. We all want to see good results regarding the charities that we donate (to). And have cheerful, heartwarming music when showing the 'afters'.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
