@hckynut

I started looking back at some posts and landed here!

Started reading and I know everybody said we shouldn't divulge too much (privacy) but now I'm wishing I could place people in certain areas, so you are the first I will ask... what projects approximately where?

@Mominohio@ECBG@chihuahuamom@tansy@DiAnne

I included everybody that came up in the discussion when I used @ in my post just now.

To add further, when I was growing up climate and weather didn't matter! I was happy where I was planted!

MI offered skating and snow slides; TX offered continual sunshine -- I loved them both.

As a young adult, IN's climate definitely was lacking! (to me, that is) It offered very little sunshine which was depressing to me. Since I also had to (notice HAD TO) work full time at an inner-city hospital, that added to my perceived "misery" too!

Offered a chance to return to TX, I was overjoyed!

When in San Antonio recently, we were asked why we didn't move there? My response was that I am happy here! SAN Antonio still looks like a great place to live to me though.

@LTT1,It's what makes YOU happy.  It isn't anyone's concern what so ever!!!

I live here in the country for just over 10 years. Moved here when I got (re) married. DH had this house already. I was living in the city where I was born (after my 1st marriage ended) until I got married again. I am 45 min from that city. Still would prefer the city over here any day, hadnt that city gone downhil. So I always say, I am a city girl at heart :-)

Born and raised in N Jersey and tho we are taxed to death, I wouldn't live anywhere else.  I can see the NYC skyline from my window and can walk to NY....I would never live far away from NYC.   I worked there, went to school there and my healthcare is there.  I would live in NYC but NJ is quieter, you get more space for your $ and beautiful views.  I like changing seasons, the snow (now that I don't shovel it or commute in it) and entertainment/restaurants are great in my area.  I do travel a lot and have a second home in Italy.  I love Italy but the US is my home and so is NJ.

I am back to my hometown right now after having lived in many different areas of the U.S. We moved back here and built a home about six years ago after retirement. My mother lives with us.

Eventually, we will either keep the home as a summer home or sell it and move South. Right now, we're just content to sit back, relax, and watch the four seasons come and go.

@ECBG

When I was a single girl, living and working out of Atlanta, my territory included NC and TN-- Blue Ridge Mountains all the way!

The northern part of the state of GA was unpopulated for the most part, and so was the western part of NC.

Loved the rambling roads, sunshine and streams which I could drive to on the weekends!

Born and raised in Iowa. Dad's job transferred the family to Dallas. I stayed behind, then came to Dallas a few years later as an "economic refugee.".Stayed for several years, then transferred within my company to KC. KC several years, then married and moved to Chicago so then-hubs could finish his education at Northwestern. He didn't. Stayed in CHI for several years, divorced hubs, decided to come back to Dallas. Got job that paid to move me, and I've been in Dallas ever since. Now taking care of elderly mother in the house the folks bought when they first moved here. Some day I'll leave Dallas but it's where I am for the foreseeable future.
