My family, in particular my father, called me Bella when I was growing up and even as I got older. Ciao in Italian means hello or goodbye. So, I put the two together and here I am!

My boss and dear friend coined me Beansie after a character on the Sopranos. He threw a K in front of it, for my first name and voila...I became Kbeans. All the kids at the school we worked at called me that too.

So it stuck.

Mine should be obvious to most but...

One of my favorite movies is To Kill a Mockingbird (b&w version with Gregory Peck). I wanted to use "Scout", but it was already taken so I opted for her given name.

Had a dog "Maverick". Next door neighbor used to give all my dogs nicknames thus Maver Daver. My dog Dakota was "Kody Odie". Niko became "Nicki Moogler". Kino is now "Kinzer". Quite the imagine!
