I cringe every time he says he "took" Cecil.....he didn't "take" Cecil shopping or "take" him to the movies, he slaughtered him!

Just once in his pathetic life, I wish he'd tell the truth and call it what it was.

But he's too much of a cowardly wimp to do that.

I wish him nothing but bad ju-ju for the rest of his days.

Good grief, this board just makes laugh out loud at times.  So, now I should judge a dentist based on whether or not he hunts big game?  lol   Is fishing allowed?  As for the dentist who killed Cecil, I don't hold him responsible at all.  I think he relied 100% on his guides.  How would he know if a particular line was protected or not?  How would he know if he was in area where he shouldn't have been?  That was the job of his guides who obviously are at fault for Cecil's death.  I don't like hunting but it's not on my list of criteria for choosing dentist.  It's not on my list of criteria for choosing a gynecologist either...lol   I don't care if my doctors hunt (as long as it's not people) or ski or gamble or cheat on their tax returns.  I only care about their professional skills as it pertains to my healthcare.  What they do in their personal life is their business.

"Good grief, this board just makes laugh out loud at times."

Well your post did anyway.

First of all I won't engage in an argument with you about killing 'lines' (sic), except to say IMO your opinions of what did and did not occur in the killing of Cecil are not consistent with proved fact. Whether Walter Palmer is ever called to face justice this time is a different matter.

NO ONE is suggesting that one choose a service provider based on any criteria other than credentials, and quality.

I make it my choice NOT to pick one who has repeatedly violated the same / similar laws because I think that makes them unscrupulous, poor decision makers, arrogant, slow learners, or all of the above.  But, that's my choice.

Irony & tongue in cheek sarcasm were the point of the Dentist review / recommendation posted here.

You missed it.

Re: How dentists are now reviewed

Well, Homegirl, you made me curious.  I just went to my dentist's website to check out the reviews.  (I've never writton one myself.)  Alas, no comedians on the site.  Most just said how friendly and professional the staff is.  Funniest one I found was "No cavities and a free toothbrush."
