It's remained at 14/15* all day, but feels like -2/0*. Currently snowing.

I've become spoiled by the gas fireplace insert we had put in this past spring.  It's so easy to click the remote and instantly have flame.

@JeanLouiseFinch  I have a gas fireplace downstairs.  Agree it's great.  In 2010 lost power for 4 days due to heavy snow - that fireplace kept the downstairs and the upstairs living/dining rooms warm - it was a Godsend.

66° and I'm FREEZING.     The high last summer was 119°...so you know WHY I think it's cold now....

I know....it's 74 at 1:30 and I'm freezing. I have a heating pad on to get warm. My house is cold but it's nice outside. I'll take this over 119 any day.

I'm in east central Pa and it's in the low 30's at the moment. Snow starting after midnight and to be in the mid 20's to mid teens on Sun. We've been having nuisance snow every couple of days. Tired of the cold and snow and it's not even winter yet.

Re: How cold is it by you?

[ Edited ]

We're down to 18 now.  I can feel the cold through my slacks.  It's been snowing off and on all day, we shopped for groceries today.  Tomorrow we're staying in.  SW MI.  I layer clothes in the mornings.  Not classy looking, (hahahaha) but warm.  So it's ok by me.

It's a balmy 9 degrees above zero here in the Chicago suburbs.

Started out at 17 this morning, but are at a balmy 35 right now! It's supposed to start snowing soon, but who knows. At least we have a cozy fire going.

Stay warm everyone!

We're having a heatwave in Colorado. Been in the 60's and 70's for several days. My thermometer on my deck right now is reading 70'. December???? Saving money on my heating bill that's for sure.

Suburban NYC area it is 36 right now with 1-3 inches of snow predicted tonight

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

I'm sad to say it was -20 this morning.  We are in a cold freeze for the next couple of days.  This goes well with the foot of snow we got earlier.  Boo!
