What do you do to stay warm in frigid weather? Its's 8 degrees by me and feels like -11.

Currently low 30s south of Pittsburgh and snowing - getting 5-7 inches - booo. 20s the next two days.
I have my Duraflame heater going in the kitchen - I've been cooking and wrapping.
I dress in layers. Generally a mock or turtleneck and a sweater, hoodie or sweatshirt type top over it. Pants or joggers. And Iwear Muk Luks slipper sox in the house.
I wear Cuddl Duds in the evening and even to bed. I'm always cold - I have a down blanket on my bed.
Outside a down jacket or coat. When doing my walking a hat and boots. Gloves.

I have a Duraflame fireplace insert in my living room too - I run that in the evening.

It's remained at 14/15* all day, but feels like -2/0*. Currently snowing.
I've become spoiled by the gas fireplace insert we had put in this past spring. It's so easy to click the remote and instantly have flames.

It's 40° right now. A cold front is moving in this afternoon. The low is supposed to be 14-16° It will also be cold Sun.
Back in the 40-50's next.
I stay warm with my space heater when I need to turn it on. I wear wool ragg socks or thermal hot feet socks to keep my feet warm. When my feet are warm I stay warm.
We have an electric throw & an electric blanket.

66° and I'm FREEZING. The high last summer was 119°...so you know WHY I think it's cold now....

I live in CO and it has been bitter cold with snow, wind and low temperatures. Layers is the best way to stay warm when you go outside. Inside we have our heat up and the fireplace going. I also have a heated throw that I use when I am sitting in my chair and reading which is every night!

My area of southern WV is at 47 right now and a bit overcast; pretty much the calm before the next rain and snow event with major drop in temperatures the local weather girl is calling "dangerous" cold.
The house is warm at 70 degrees, but I've never been a fan of long sleeves, so if I feel a chill, I grab one of my hooded housecoats as a cover up. I use a Dyson heater to warm up the unheated laundry area if I need to be out there.
