How can I learn to like this puppy?

I miss my Marble dog so much and my DH loves this puppy. Of course, by the time he gets home from work, puppy just sleeps. I feel like a puppy prisoner. He's just the wrong pup for me. I can't walk him as he drags me around, he plays too rough, he's got more energy than I'll ever have, and he jumps up and almost knocks me down. I can't tire him out- he just gets stronger
