We're staying home, no plans. I'm sure we'll eat out somewhere for lunch, but home after that. I'm not a huge fan of New Year's Eve and will be glad when it's over.

I will be taking down the decorations New Year's Eve day since they have been up since Thanksgiving weekend and by early evening will be tired. Our grandchildren are all young so their parents have them in bed early. We will be seeing all of them New Year's Day at my daughter's house(5 with another due in Feb.)

New Year's Eve/Day is never really a big deal for us, so we don't go out and "party". However, we will be going to my in-law's house for a very early dinner (I have a 3 year old and an infant that have to be in bed). On New Year's Day, I'll have my mom and step-dad over for appetizers and dessert (we usually just "pick" on New Year's Day).

We go out to an upscale restaurant for dinner and then home to relax in front of the fire and wait for the ""ball"" to drop.

DH and I will celebrate at home in front of the TV with ""The Widow Clicquot"".

We'll either be watching a movie or college football depending on whether there is a good game.

I love to watch the twilight zone marathon on the sci-fi network. It starts NYE and ends at midnite NYD!
