Hey HisElk, did you get a picture of your new puppy yet. I am dying to see him!!

Hi! I have some pictures of her, but don't have any idea how to post one. I don't have photobucket, and I think that's the only way to do it here?

Thanks for sharing your story and that is a great picture of her; I think her name is Ginger?

I'm glad to hear you are feeling much better and yes, we took the tree down too as we didn't want her to be afraid of it and get into playing with some of the lower ornaments.

If I can find a way to post her pic, I will. She is a tri colored girl and she's an aussie if that helps. We originally wanted to get a rescue one and the 2 that we found online were so cute; one of them was already adopted and the other was located in NH which is a very very long drive, so that was not an option. My back wouldn't take quite that long of a drive.

Thanks for the update; always good to 'see' you here. Smiley Happy

I signed up for photobucket. It only took a few minutes and I uploaded the photo onto there and then copied it onto here. I am not good with that stuff either. I think John (hckynut) is the one who helped me with that. I may still have his directions as I copied and saved them. He really spelled it out in laymans terms so even I could understand.

When you say Aussie, do you mean Australian Shephard? I love the tricolor. Yes, NH would be a long ride even with a good back. If it is an Australian Shephard they are pretty high energy so the ride would have been rough for the puppy too! They are the smartest dogs! My friend has one and that dog is just so smart and cute. He does all kinds of tricks and loves loves loves to play frisbee!

I may check into it when I have more time. Actually I read about Australian shepherd and originally, we were looking at getting a sheltie as we've had 4 and just lost our last girl about 2 years ago.

This one is called a Miniature American Shepherd because the Aussie is bigger and this one is more like a miniature aussie.

Oh my God HisElk, I just looked it up and they are sooooo cute! Don't you just love a new puppy in the house? They just add so much happiness to a home I think.

My puppy is a real chewer. She chews everything. She even tries to chew our faces and she has sharp little teeth. She has gotten me a couple of times on my face!! lol! I know all puppies like to chew but I don't think I have had a dog ever who likes to chew like she does. I have bought a million chew toys and have found some that she really likes. I usually set my purses down in the kitchen when I get home. I left my brand new Michael Kors purse on the floor and she chewed it up. I mean there aren't holes in it but there are teeth marks all over it. I was so mad at myself because it was totally my fault. I had a little hook put in underneath the granite overhang on the counters and I now use that to hang my purse. She cannot reach it!

This is one of the cutest pups I've ever seen. And, she has a beautiful bed.
