How are people coping. with their losses?

There have been tornadoes in the south that wiped out some towns.  Flooded areas here in CA and the Northeast, Fires, and of course the tragedy in Hawaii.

Are those people Q shoppers?  When your place is destroyed how can you order or have your items delivered?  Shopping for Q items would be the last hing on my mind with no electricity to order or watch the television,.

How are people getting by?

My thought is there is more to be concerned with than ordering from QVC.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

I dont understand your post, im sorry. Are you being sarcastic?

People suffering from these disasters are coping minute by minute and hopefully getting assisted by local  and national resources.

I dont understand what this post has to do with tv shopping as you mentioned....im lost.

It is highly unlikely that anyone so tragically impacted would be on these boards.

Huh?

Some of them are standing in line getting meals from Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen or searching for missing family and friends.

I don’t understand this question at all.

@LizzieInSRQ

He is a force of nature. I highly recommend watching the documentary We Feed People. It might be available on Hulu or Netflix.

I’m amazed at how efficiently and quickly they seem to work, and they have an ability to cut through bureaucracy and redtape that typically entangles government entities, to get help straight to the people.

Re: How are people coping. with their losses?

Last week when the Q took a break as Amy was presenting Logo a few tornadoes & strong winds did hit the overall area in the northeast.  (Pennsylvania & Delaware). That show had to go off the air for a while and the Q ran a rerun show.

A close friend of mine's brother lives in Delaware and his house was destroyed!  A lot of homes on his street had serious damage.  His roof caved in as trees topped on his home. They said that it wasn't a tornado but was a straight line of wind which I had never heard of before.  It can be as strong as a tornado but travels in a straight line rather than spin like a tornado would.

His wife was injured with broken ribs but has left the hospital.  I can't say that she has gone home since they no longer have one.  They are staying in temporary shelter and what is left of his home has to be torn down so it can be rebuilt.

This is so sad.  I can't imagine what they are going through but thank goodness they are alive and will go forward.
