i am very active......member of some groups, interact with family and friends from allover the world, read lots of political posts, follow my favorite sports teams, collect recipes, play some games.

i am also very active with our business pages. it is a great place to promote your business and reach out to customers and potential customers for FREE. you cannot beat that. also a good way to get feedback about services from current customers.

Probably too active on fb. I originally joined fb to stay connected to family. I have since found that it's caused a lot of problems with some members of my family. 

I also reconnected with people I went to high school and college with. 

I have found that I enjoy interacting on fb with people I've met here and then people I've met through those people on fb. 

If I could, I'd delete most of my family and high school acquaintances. Seems I get along better with the people I haven't actually met in person -- not sure what that says about me.

Do not do FB.....and never will.  A lot of folks have had a lot of problems on there.

I never had any interest in FB, but I have set up a bogus account for the purpose of playing King games and with that, I have acquired a few dozen "friends" who are complete strangers, who assist with the games.

I'm a private person and don't want my personal life out there. If friends and family are interested in me, they know how to contact me. I'm also not interested in reading about others' travels, food, or opinions on FB.

I enjoy my Home Page - Has a little of everything that interests me.  I learn a lot, too.  However, I don't put anything too personal on my page.

With all the information that is shared here on the forums, I don't believe that fb is any worse than here. You don't have to put your real name on fb so what's the difference?

Photos don't have to be shared, birth date given, hometown listed or professions on fb. Users often post their pets, flowers, cartoons or anything else as their profiles.

I only joined FB about 6 years ago after my first great nephew was born, so I could see photos that his parents posted.  I rarely post anything and only have 10 FB friends.  There are a few QVC host/vendor sites that I check every day because I like them.  It's nice that I have reconnected with a few friends from grade school/high school on FB, too.
