How about recommending a website you like for others to try?

I enjoy Mahjong ,and there are many free sites for you to play it

I also like to play klondike solitaire, and those too are  free ,and  there are quite a few of them.

I have some  other boards that are nice, but they are religous ones, and I'm not allowed to post links

Any type of websites?  If you like fashion, look up "The Sartorialist".  The photographer has focused mainly on Europe where he photographs people on the street that he thinks have style.  He includes many photos of men, and the looks are just really interesting.

If you like history, look up "Great Depression Story Project" which is associated with the Ohio Department of Aging.  Fabulous little remembrances were recorded about what it was like to live through the Great Depression.  Interesting and poignant.

"explore.org" provides access to many live camera offerings of various animals. I especially enjoy those featuring dogs.

I like playing the games on the HSN webiste.  I collect points which you use to enter for a chance to win items.  Have never won and don't expect to but the selection of games all on one webiste is good.

cherry, are you interested in decorating and houses at all?   "Hooked on Houses" is one of my favorite sites for that.  She has all kinds of categories, like "Farmhouses"  and "Cottages".   I especially like the "Onscreen Houses" category in which she shows decor and houses from both vintage and modern movies and TV shows-- everything from "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House"  to  "Bewitched".

It's fun eye-candy for the house-obsessed.

I'm pretty sure that most others don't share the same interests that I do. I participate far more on a couple of topic specific chat sites...frequent flyers and college hockey...than I do here. I'm not into decorating or crafts or cooking.

If you like games try pogo.com has lots of different games you can play---card games, word games, hidden object games, strategy games, different mahjong games, favorites like Scrabble, Yahtzee, Connect 4, monopoly. You can play with other people or play against the robots. You can sign up for free but have to sit through ads....if you sign up for club membership you pay a small fee and skip the ads and get more benefits...

@cherry  I am also a big fan of Mah Jong.  When I got my new tablet, I couldn't believe how many versions of it I could get for free in the app store.  I also have it on my laptop, and HSN has a 3-dimensional version in their games.

As far as games, I have several versions of both Mahjong and Klondike (and other) solitaire I play daily, but they are Apple apps (though some probably have Android versions) that I'd be happy to recommend. If you're talking strictly laptop/website, I don't do that for games.
