How To Give One Time Donations Annyomously to Some Issues = Money Orders By Mail?

I don't have lots of discretionary money, but there are some folks I would like to sent a bit of money directly and only one time and not get hit up weekly for more. How could I do this, one time only, without endless follow up requests. I used to work for local PBS station in fund raising, so I know how this went before the Internet. Suggestions? TIA Apologies for spelling.
