Today I broke a hair claw thingy and realize I can't figure out a fast way to get another. First world problem for sure.
I am going into town per usual each day for yoga, but can't bring myself to enter a B&M anymore.
Have a car, gas, cover for yoga pants, credit card, but no nerve.
@Still Raining - why won't you go in a store?
A personal decision.

Oh. Wow!! I use to love going shopping in stores. It was a sport activity, that I enjoyed with some of my girlfriends.
Now for the last several years. It's just not the same for me. Once a year, I still go with one of my girlfriends to a huge outlet where we shop all day, and have an early dinner. Other then that I am pretty much Online or Costco.
I wanted two nightshirts to sleep in and went to Amazon and had them in two days. A few months back I wanted some wedge hills. I ordered online at Macy's and went to the store to pick up.
It's very easy to shop with a click of the button nowadays.

I hate to admit it but I shop more now that I'm retired...too much time on my hands, I guess. I still go to B/M stores but, also, do my fair share of online shopping.

I retired about ten years ago so my shopping changed a lot also due to that. I used to stop on the way home for groceries. Now I go in the morning or early afternoon to avoid the after-work ahoppers. Can't believe I was part of that crowd! Most of the malls in my area have closed. Now they are building apts in their place; thousands of them. . Sorry to see that. We had a mall close by and we would walk inside the big mall before the stores opened. The mall had a few kiosks open for coffee and breakfast foods. It was great since we could walk regardless of the weather or season. Sure do miss that. I did order groceries for pickup during COVID lockdown but went back to going into the store two years ago so I can pick out what I want myself. I order clothes occasionally since I know my size and what fits at specific websites, but I honestly don't need any more clothes. I need shoes, but need to go in and try those on. Haven't found anything so far in a long time that I want.

Nope, not at all.
I use the 1-year Rule: If I haven't worn it since the last time I changed out my closet (from Spring & Summer clothes to Fall & Winter apparel), then I donate or give it away.
I have just a handful of "sentimental" pieces/items that I keep which were gifts from family or friends who are now deceased.
@LavernLuvsShoes I buy my clothes mostly from Talbots because they have things I can wear for years with a few new things bought seasonally. I can't even imagine getting rid of clothes I haven't worn in a year.

Online mostly Amazon or Zulily. Shopping in person: Walmart, area grocery stores and of course Costco. I would say I am more of an online shopper. And I look for free shipping.
Do I shop, QVC? Sometimes but I feel the prices are higher than I want ot pay since I can get pretty much the same things somewhere else. I also would like more product information from the hosts and vendors. Lots of duplicates over and over and a great deal of chatter. I don't need to be privy to whatever is shared that is not about the products.

No, don't have one of those but thank you!

Yes, I totally agree! I still feel that we need to try and support what stores we have left. If we don't use them, the chances are far greater that they will have to close up!!!
