I'm right there with you.  Been going to the library a lot, spending more days at the gym, taking more walks, watching cable movies, spending time with my  sister and nearby friends, ad nauseum.

It's not nearly as amusing when it's your cat and your tree. BTDT, with a 9ft live tree while dh was away on a business trip so I had to try and stand it up by myself and oh all the broken ornaments.

Well as I get older I find I enjoy just watching many of these Christmas shows. Have even ordered a couple of non-gift items, for myself and DS and his wife.

You can always change the channel. Obviously people are shopping or these things wouldn't keep being shown.

The TV remote is a wonderful thing.

I would say at least 5 1/2 weeks more it is only mid November.
