Re: How Many "QVC RUINED My Christmas!" Threads Will There Be?

I shop local. I like supporting my small town shops. No waiting for anything to ship, I walk out of the store with it in my arms AND its already been wrapped!! Yay for small businesses!!

Are we counting only here on the Forums, or on Facebook as well, because FB gets a ton of those posts every year!

If only here, I'll guess 10 & under.  Once the first 3 or 4 see that they don't have many sympathisers, they will flock to FB where they will get a lots of posters wanting to rant about the same thing.  Then the mob effect takes over and there will be pages of rants.

I can never understand it.  Plan early, shop early.  I have relatives all over the country so I always shop early.  Everything already arrived by the end of November through last week!  Even my niece's double presents -- Christmas and her Christmas Eve birthday -- arrived last week.

Shoppers who post and/or read the forums regularly are very well educated on the recent shipping issues and delays.

The ones who may be disappointed are the first time QVC shoppers who come across the channel by accident or stumble on to the website and make a purchase.

I doubt that many of them will sign up on the forums to complain, so I place my wager on less than 5.

Any regular here has been well informed and forewarned.

I can't imagine ordering anything after Thanksgiving and planning on gifting it for a December holiday.  And they'll fly all kinds of banners on their website and these forums about being backed up with holiday returns.  It's the Q way.

Yes!  And I was always surprised at how many posters do this on Christmas Day, or the very next day!

Re: How Many "QVC RUINED My Christmas!" Threads Will There Be?

With several threads raving about the recent fast shipping  and quicker than usual delivery and no problems in delivery  just how could this happen? It just doesn't affect some posters?. I do not see consistent  improvement and change.

I more often am more concerned my order isn't lost, damaged and I was sent the correct item. I am on 15 days shipping for a kitchen item. This time of year is stressful and I feel for those trying to get our stuff packed and delivered. I saw my mail carrier in her mail  car on Sunday and it wasn't going to church or shopping.

Everyone will survive. For those of you patiently  waiting,  I hope it all works out and no dissappointment. There are always the last minute gifts and change of plans. Hopefully under 10 complaints.

The people with this problem are usually first time shoppers who are lured in by the 6 easy pays on laptops on December 20th and Alexa products.

These are not seasoned QVC shoppers.

They start christmas in July. If you order 5 months in advance, you'll be sure to have all that stuff by December. Guaranteed.

I dont have a number to guess but my guess is between now and and Christmas the OP will start more threads than the number of "not received by Christmas" threads.

Ouch.
