Darn! I ordered a pair of anthrocite (black as far as metal can go) hoops and ordered another pair for a Christmas gift. It came. It was wrong? Really? They should have so many checks and balances that this shoulden't happen?

I've been dealing with QVC for many years now. I order quite often. I can honestly say that I have never received the wrong order in all that time. Just lucky, I guess.

From QVC? Twice. I've been shopping with them since 1991
One time I received a dozen pair of shorts. I didn't even order shorts - lol. There were a dozen pair in the package.
Another time I received a Graver top instead of the top I ordered.
Both times QVC made it right. It happens...

Actually, very seldom has it been wrong. It's the sizes that are off! I go crazy picking out the size according to measurements and they are always larger than posted.
Just this afternoon I opened a package that had nothing in it. It was wrapped in paper (a pearl necklace).
The entire side of the paper wrapper was not sealed. I believe the entire box fell out. I called QVC immediately and they are sending me a new one.
I told them I would be happy to send in the wrapper where you can see it was not sealed and they took my word for it. The problem is when it does happen again (and law of averages says it will happen because I order a lot of stuff I don't need) it will be more difficult to get them to believe it's the truth. Also most of what I buy I buy on easy pay so it was just a matter of maybe $15-$20 I had into it. Next time it might be more money. I almost didn't call them because I feel like maybe (even though it was the honest truth) they might say, "Well, you've called us before".......
I said, "I don't call very often, especially when you consider all that I order, and she said, "Well you have called once or twice"! Are you kidding? Once or twice in about 20 years? And it's never for more than a few dollars? Give me a break! In every case I've offered to send in the broken piece (jewelry) or whatever they need and they always say, "No! That's OK".
But....they are sending me a new one...but I did and am paying for it...now if I can just remember to make sure I'm not charged again!

I've been purchasing for about 5-6 years, maybe a bit more. I can't honestly recall a single wrong item, color, size, etc. received. If there was something it sure doesn't stick in my mind as having been a really bad experience.

I can't remember it happening other than this year. All as is items. I ordered a garland and got three angels. Next I ordered a wreath and got a different wreath. Last is a shirt. It came in a different size.

I've been shopping about 25 years, and in that time I've rarely received the wrong item or had a mistake in what I've ordered. It's remarkable they've done so well.

Never anything from the shopping channels, but have from another site I get skincare/makeup from.
They sent me something I'd wanted to try, so I didn't contact them, even though the item I rec'd cost less than the item I ordere, I just let it go.
Today I opened a box of toys I had ordered from Kmart and inside was an empty bottle of Pepsi. Ewww.![]()

Well, funny you should ask because today I received the wrong color of the new Dooney pouch. I ordered the red tartan, but received the black one instead, and the red is sold out! The packing slip is correct, but they pulled the wrong box, which clearly states it is black. Very disappointed that the red is no longer available.
