We are actually hoping for lots more snow tonight so our plans are "ruined". For some reason we made plans with 3 other couples for tomorrow night, and we would rather just stay home alone.

In all the 31 years we have been married we never have gone out on VD - despite that it is our anniversary. The restaurants are crowded and overbooked and usually the service is bad. Just never dawned on us to want to go out. We always buy something special to make at home together. Tomorrow will be crab - one of my favorites, with rice and broccoli slaw - also a favorite. We will give each other cards for our anni & VD . For gifts we do something special for each other - today DH rewired our DR to move the chandelier because i rearranged the furniture and it wasn't over the table. I am going to clean the garage for him and help him get it organized as it is getting cluttered - and there is not enough room for that.

35th wedding anniversary tomorrow. We're having a 'favorite things' weekend. We won't be able to hike or bike but we have a list of fun things planned. We no longer let minor disappointments bother us. If we're lucky -- there's always tomorrow. Have fun everyone.

No Valentine's plans here. The only planning we're doing is for our vacation which is less than 3 weeks away. Looking forward to daily beach walks, a spa day and lots of great dining.

I have a dozen roses here and no plans for tomorrow due to the weather. We are having a home cooked meal. I got DH a card but he couldn't get out for a card for me. I don't mind-- we are together.
