4 and I returned one from us, to each of those. 2 I will see on Christmas.  1 is out of state, and one lives in the old neighborhood.

I always keep the photos and often the newsletters. 

Enjoy looking at them as the years go by. I enjoy the photos.

I sent out maybe 18, and received 7 so far. 

Was not going to send any, but relented at the end.  Mostly to folks we do not see through the year.  Even sent some to a few new folks this year.

My mother used to work for a card company in St. Louis, and one of our seasonal highlights was selecting our cards to send out.  Beautiful sayings, pictures and heavy stock with lots of gold or silver embossing 

Different times then.  

Thankfully, I don't get any of those with a "newsletter" in them anymore.  I'd prefer a personal note or just a signature.

Don't need or want to hear about everything that's going on down to the dog going to the Vet 

On another note, I just got an email from a friend this morning detailing all the "holiday" turmoil in her life and offering several excuses why she had not been in touch with me for months.

I wanted to respond, "I don't care anymore."  

But didn't.
