Re: How Late Does Amazon Deliver?

@Biftu  I am a regular Amazon shopper.  In my experience, whether the item is shipped by Amazon or someone else makes a difference in terms of reliability of delivery date.  Who is shipping the item can be seen below the price of the item in the item page.  I double check before finalizing the order because sometimes who is selling or shipping the item changes from the time I put the item in my cart and the time I finalize my order.  Once the order is placed, I don't think Amazon posts who is shipping the item, and I don't know where to find this info.  So I check before I order and pick Amazon delivery if I can. If you got a range of delivery dates (and not a specific date) at the time you placed your order, the shipment was probably by a vendor other than Amazon.  Shippers that are companies that can be found at regular retail are reliable.  I have had bad experiences with other shippers at Amazon.  The overwhelming majority of items arrive eventually arrive.

When the item is a liquid, even Amazon may need to reschedule the shipment or offer a refund.  My impression is that liquid items sometimes perish in transit.

Best of luck!

@NYCLatinaMe  The order was placed from a vendor other than Amazon.  Unfortunately Amazon did not have the item.  Hopefully it will arrive, but if not it is no big deal.  I'll contact Amazon.  Thanks for sharing all this information.

Re: How Late Does Amazon Deliver?

@Biftu  Just an FYI because you said you don't shop Amazon often.  Amazon ships many items sold by other sellers.  As long as Amazon is shipping, the delivery is pretty reliable, whether Amazon is the seller or not.
