My husband who is an IT guy, said this forum would close and he was right.

QVC, I don't blame you ONE bit!

All these forums are cliquish and petty most of the time.

You have to catch the right time when some people that are not like that on to get a decent give and take.

Last week I was attacked brutally by just asking a legitimate question, I was polite and thanked in advance and that's the replies I received.  Sarcasm and was made a mockery then attacked.

No one would act that way in person but hiding behind that screen is common.

WAY TO GO QVC!!!!!!!  This may get poofed but every word is true.

you have just proven my point.  This forum and all these forums are mostly petty, childish nonsense.  Why blame someone for something a company did?

We all meet people in life who are nasty, obnoxious and rude.  I do admit it is easier to hide behind computers and phones to do so.  I grew up with facing people if there was an issue or seeing them fact to face to resolve our differences.  I know on these forums there have been many who weren' t nice.  I have had to hold back many times after reading certain posts because I really didn't know the circumstances of that person.  Lashing out at someone I don't know isn't my way.

With that being said I will miss the forums, the fashions, the movies and TV  and home comments and for the most part learning new things.  It has been a positive experience for me and a fun one.  I do feel for all those who were always considerate, polite and had dignity, it isn't fair for them to be denied.  But changes come and go and if this is how it must be, I will feel bad but adjust.  I am blessed with many close friends who I see and keep in touch with, their support has always been a plus in my life as is my family.  

I will not as i have stated join Face Book and support their leader who I am not a fan of for many valid reasons.  I don't need that outlet.  But perhaps many on these forums will resume elsewhere.  If anything changes or replaces the forums, I would be on board.  

Thanks for allowing me to voice my opinions, I will continue until the forums close down.

This post and the others like it just substantiate the fact that bad new brings out the best in us and the worst.  Thankfully the best far outweighs the worst.  If @77yangya  finds the boards so distasteful, what the heck is she doing here?

You know, @77yangya, perhaps you might want to reexamine your own part in whatever petty pout you're going on about. You state you were attacked brutally.

I know people who have been actually brutally attacked. Actually attacked, complete with blood, cuts, contusions and trip to a hospital.

You are the one making a mockery of assaults.

@77yangya  what a strange post.  I would assume from your comments that you don't spend much time here yet you have over 4,000 posts and have been here 10 years.  With timely intervention from the mods, I haven't seen attacks like you reference in quite a while.  If you don't enjoy the boards why use them?  

Perhaps you are motivated by the need to be right?  LM
